Ok, let me start off with this comment, I was really looking forward to reading this book. So much so that I almost purchased it directly from the publisher because I didn't want to wait the two to three months delay that the publisher has before they hit Amazon. Let me tell you, it was not worth the wait. I read a lot of erotic bdsm novels. The other three in the series are ok & hot (they have their plot holes, but they are hot enough that I can over look a few). The connection to Club Esoteria in this novel is lame and could have definitely been built up stronger (like a 'Training to be a Dom' course for the two guys held at Esoteria {being in their shoes when they first try to be Doms to her ~ the course was mentioned but not executed within the novel}, have them experience one night together at the club, I don't know- something more than what was there).

There were several points to this novel that annoyed me:
-The insistence of people around this girl saying that she wasn't really a submissive and she just wanted the connection or whatever.
-The stupid bad guy -arrgh! This bad guy could have been SO much better.
-The gay / not gay / but actually bi, overall lack of communication between the main characters; a very common plot device in mmf novels.
-The guys 'acting' like Doms to her but not being Doms, knowing diddly about being Doms/bdsm, but they still try to 'act the part' for her sake.

I think my overall frustration and the reason why it got a 2 stars is that I wanted this novel to be better. It didn't get a one star because there were a few scenes that were hot. I felt it within the novel where with more time, better editing, and sharper focus it could have been a much better novel.

I felt like it needed more character focus and consistency within the thoughts/attitude of the characters, overall better character development.

Masters of Her Heart [Club Esoteria 4] Siren Publishing Menage Amour edition by Cooper McKenzie Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

As with her other books, Ms. McKenzie's forte is the building relationship between the characters. Each has strength and vulnerability and she seems to bring out the best in her characters. While the BDSM aspects are not as strong as other books, she has built a wonderful series and I hope to see more from this author in the future.
I liked it but since it IS book 4 in the series I expected it to revolve around the club a little more. Also had a bit of trouble Believing that the cop had no experience with bdsm at all
This story was extraordinarily heartwarming. No mystery, some keen tension, and a lovely ending marking a beautiful beginning. There are some graphic BDSM episodes depicting what happens when a weirdo Dom really goes off the deep end and the woman he insists is his to do with as he damn well pleases suffers under his excesses. It is the loving strength of the central trio that shines throughout this novella. What a very fine read!

Megan Phillips is a confused, lonely, hurting, and vulnerable woman. Her earlier years are just hinted at, but speak to a consuming need to find a Master. Since she feels her landlords are beyond reach, she starts visiting a local BDSM club to fulfill her aching void. Oh, I hurt with her time and again. I also thoroughly enjoyed her `horny' moments. What a babydoll indeed!

Jack and Quinn, Megan's landlords, are a couple, but they really would like to bring Megan into the fold. These guys are so special, so hot, and so willing to learn how to assist Megan in recovering her sense of self so they can add her to their incredible family. I flat out loved them both! It is such as charming part of the story as they wend through the learning curve to try and fulfill Megan's fondest desire. Hot stuff!

The necessary villain interloper was such a super dirt bag and a total pain in the ass as he pushes everyone to their wit's end. Cheer along with me as he gets his comeuppance big time. Megan, Jack, and Quinn are worth getting to know. They were top notch and I recommend you check these folks out. Enjoy!

Always a good read from Club Esoteria, love the dynamics of these books, and really enjoying the series a lot.
This story was disappointing. The link to Club Esoteria is distant and the story conflicted with itself. (Warning Spoilers)

The premise is that our heroine (Megan) desperately wants her two landlords (Jack and Quinn) but they're gay. We discover early on that the men are actually bisexual and looking for a lady (Megan) to join them.

This is fine, what gets me is that they guys are not Doms and are meant to have almost no knowledge of BDSM but are willing to learn in order to give Megan what she needs. BUT! From the first confrontation between these three, the men threaten spanking, command her sexually and order her about generally. What was left to learn???

A bad guy/Dom is introduced at the start of the story and makes a reappearance so our heroes can be heroes and save the girl, but it feels disjointed. In fact the entire story (brief as it is) feels disjointed.

Given the depth of development that appears between the characters in the previous books, this story is severely lacking.
I enjoy reading the Club Esoteria series, but this one wasn't as good as the others. The males weren't as "alpha" as the other men in the series tend to be and I did not find the female character very interesting, either. It was worth reading, but a little disappointing.
I gave this book 3 stars because the Doms were week and the book was too short. First I would have liked a little more history about Megan's past they said she was abused but never really said how and a little more history about Jack and Quinn and the were inexperienced doms.
